Inside the Fossey's still room
Baori

Flavours from home,distilled in Mildura.

Baori began with a simple question: why does nothing on an Australian bottle shop shelf taste like the things we actually grew up on? Saffron. Jamun. Paan after dinner. Popcorn at the pictures. So we made them.

The releases

Every flavour here started as a real ingredient steeped in the still; every whisky, a real cask, aged the long way.

01

The flavours

Every release starts with a real ingredient, not an essence. Saffron threads steeped until the spirit takes their colour, whole jamun berries pressed and rested, betel leaf and fennel for the paan.

02

The distilling

All of it made here in Mildura on the Murray, under Australian licence, to Australian standards. Indian in flavour, Australian in every other respect.

03

The point

Nostalgia you can pour. These are the bottles that get opened when the room is full and somebody says they have not tasted that since they were a kid.

Taste the range at the cellar door, or build a selection to take home.
